Really enjoy these lessons. Lots of helpful examples and background information. I’ve been trying to teach myself New-testament Greek for years but often give up when it comes to cases and tenses. But hearing these things explained make it easier to understand. Still not easy but easier. Thank you so much.

An excellent explanation I rhink. As a quick wrap up Aorist is the equivalent of Past Simple in English or Preterito Indefinido in Spanish. The word "aorist" means literally "indefinite". However as a grammar tense it is used to describe events that happened in a specific moment in time. And as my Spanish teacher once said, that sounds pretty definite to me.

Greetings and blessings teacher, who thinks of the teaching of some, affirms that the Aorist is not punctual, but depends on the text and its verbal aspect, as well as it can be "present future, perfect" Blessings.

1 Peter 1:16 “Be ye holy; for I am holy.” ‘Be’ is in the second aorist, and ‘am’ in the present tense. I know aorist is past tense and the present tense is portraying continuation. So the latter half would more appropriately read “I am always holy.” But how exactly would the first half read since it’s past tense? ‘Be’ past tense in English is ‘been’ so would it read, “you should have already been holy, for I am always holy.”?

It's second person plural (y'all)...IMPERATIVE which i guess is the same as a aorist past and also if you're speaking to one person but in a formal sense, if i'm understanding this correctly.
