Question? Can sometimes the verb have the same verb spelling in the simple past and the past continuous? Examples: Πίνω και έπινα. Ανήκω (present) άνηκα?Other verbs: πρόσεχω, καταφέρω, μεταφέρω.

Hello! thanks for your comment. If I understood your question correctly, no verb has the same spelling in the past simple and the past tense apart from εΊμαι and ΄έχω, which become ήμουν and είχα in both tenses.
