I don;t understand 1:40. What does playing a hero card down mean?

Putting a hero card down is when you have a hero card in your hand then placing it in front of you. That is putting the card in play. The moment you do that, you're able to use its ability which is what ever it says on the card.

What you're saying is true. You can use a hero card's ability one time per turn once its been placed down. Take a look at the manual where it says "The Types Of Cards" in the 3rd paragraph it reads. When you play a hero card from your hand into your party, you may immediately roll two dice to use its effect. So basically playing a hero card down and use its ability for the cost of 1 action point. But that is only when placing hero cards down. Every other turn if you wish to use the ability again it will cost 1 action point.

I have a question, if you have a the same class on your choosen hero on your deck, how can I use it? Should I just add it to my hero card or there are possible ways to use it?

If you chosen lets say the fighter bear party leader card. You are still able to place fighter heroes down and use their abilities. However the only thing is that those fighter heroes will not count towards the 6 different heroes that you need to win the game. Hopefully that answers your question. If not then I'll need some clarification to help.

can i use fighter challenge card if i dont have fighter hero card in party , but i have fighter party leader card in party ?

You can use a challenge card at any point your opponent places a card down regardless of who is in your party. You don't even have to have any hero placed down to play a challenge card. If you have the fighter party leader, that makes your challenge cards more powerful by adding 2 to your dice roll for that challenge.

@@kevinjohnsonsieman8490 OH! Yeah. That you must have the matching hero placed down in order to play a class challenge card. I don't believe the party leader card counts towards that.

Yes. They stay there until destroyed by another card.

Yes you can. If you choose the option to spend the 3 action points, you discard all the cards in your hand to draw 5 new cards regardless how many you have.

@@detectivefunky Thanks, the rules aren't very specific when actually playing, I have many more questions 1. I know that you can challenge a hero card (after being played as in put down, not after choosing to activate the effect) and you can only challenge that card ONCE, so does it mean that if that hero card survives is it immune to challenges only for that turn or forever? 2. Some cards say DISCARD A card or 2 to activate its effect, does that very spell card count as one or do you need 2 more? 3. The requirement for slaying a monster is sometimes any hero type or a specific role, I know that the leader is not considered a hero but if the requirements include a specific role, does the leader count or not?

1. You can only ever play a challenge card right after someone else plays a card. If you fail the challenge roll than that card goes into play and can not be challenged again by you or any other player. its a one time deal basically. 2. The card being played does not count towards the discard cards. 3. The only thing the leader card symbol counts for is getting the multiple class victory. So it's symbol doesn't count when attacking the monsters.
