super cool video. very well explained, I learned a lot, just bought the game actually so I'm in learning phase. Also, after many many videos I think the playmat that you have is the most beautiful as that green is not to vibrant and accommodate very well all the cards, even if they are heroes, or blue, or yellow. Another thing that I would like to ask you, if is possible to tell me what are those LEFT & RIGHT lights. Make a very nice light near to the table, create a very nice atmosphere. Thanks mate!
@thediceyreview11 ай бұрын
Thanks so much! I’m glad it was helpful. I really like the mat as well. I don’t always go in on stuff like that but this game is one I really love and don’t mind getting some extras for. These lights are the Ulanzi VL49. Very affordable and they’re great!

Boy, the internet is weird. I just stumbled upon your channel today. And that seems strange to me because I have pretty much been looking at board game related stuff on the internet almost every day for well over a decade. How in the world your channel never showed up before is a mystery to me. Looks cool though!

Amazing content and best thing I’ve watched to learn this game. I do have a question about Allies’ consequential damage. How come black cat has been in for a ton of turns?
@thediceyreviewАй бұрын
@@RickPH thanks so much! Black Cat is a cool ally. She doesn’t take any consequential damage when attacking only thwarting.

so apparently you as the Hero cannot Thwart during the Enemy turn, before going to your next hero turn? Just thinking you could thwart at the end of the enemy turn before taking your next turn that way you're exhausting the hero, but then un-exhausting as you begin your next round. I'm new to the game so I could be way off base.
@thediceyreviewАй бұрын
@@JG4AU yeah unless you have a Hero Interrupt type card you normally can’t take actions during the enemy turn.
@robertkimball66258 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for a great overview. My know it was a year ago that you made this but am I mistaken that throughout most of the game, you had too many cards for the hand size of Spider-Man? Maybe I’m missing something. (I am very new)
@sassas233 ай бұрын
Hi, I believe if the extra cards come during the turn (eg draw a card if spidey is attacked) hand limit is irrelevant. It only counts when you draw cards up to the limit at the end of the heroes turn. So if you have 2, then you would draw 3 (spideys hero hand size is 5) but if you had 5 or more you would draw zero but not have to discard down to 5. Hope that makes sense 😊

Man I really liked this: the b-roll, your relaxed and fun teach, and the excellent production values! I watched the whole thing and was looking forward to watching more but is this the only Marvel Champions video you ended up doing?!
