Main jaanta hoon ki Hindi ki kai vidyalayi pustakon mein aisa likha hota hai, visheshkar vyaakaran ki pustakon mein, par yah aadhikaarik roop se anuchit hai. Hindi 40 pratishat se adhik bhaaratiyon ki maatribhaasha avashya hai, par raashtrabhaasha ka sthaan humare samvidhaan mein kisi bhi bhaasha ko nahi diya gaya hai. Samvidhaan mein 23 bhaashaon ko sarkaari kaam-kaaz ke liye soochit kiya gaya, hai, jisme se Hindi va Angrezi ka prayog Kendra Sarkaar karti hai. Baaki sabhi raajyon ko Angrezi ke saath apni praadeshik bhaashayon ka upyog karne ki chhoot hai.

It's wrong to say that there is no neutral gender in Hindi. There is. But while referring to those gender neutral objects a feminine or male verb additive is used. In speaking ...sure it will appear that there's no neutral gender. But grammatically that's not true.
