Happy New Year Fr. Dave. May this year bring hope, love, peace & unity among families. I was deeply touched by your homily Fr. I am a single mother. The father of my children and I got separated when my eldest son was only 8 and my daughter was 7 years old. My children are in their forties while i am now in my senior year at the age of 65. My children grew up with the guidance of my mother who is their grandmother since I was then working abroad. I had the chance to take care of my children when they were babies. But started working abroad & left them when my eldest was only 3 & my youngest was only 2yrs old.😢 To cut the story short Fr. Dave, I don't feel I was loved or was appreciated by my children. I felt that pain, when I stopped working abroad and started to take care of them. And that time they were in their teenage years already. How I wish my children will love, respect and learn to forgive my shortcomings because i wasn't there in their growing years. And while growing up they haven't experienced living with their "parents" to guide & love them. Fr. Dave pls include us in your prayers. I pray for divine healing, divine wisdom & strength to guide me & my children to the right path where God our Father will lead us for the glory of God. In Jesus Name. Amen🙏🙏🙏
