As far as I could find, historically the first Israeli Mustangs had bare-metal finish. One of those skins was available for purchase in the WT Marketplace and I did purchase it. That's the one you can see in the intro. Sadly, I couldn't make it work in the User Mission and so the Mustangs in the combat scenes have camouflage pattern which was used later. Custom skins for this aircraft were 'temporarily not available' for some reason.

The Zionist movement was promoting terrorist attacks on British Mandate police and soldiers that started Feb 1944- May 1948, assassination of Lord Morley the Middle East vicroy and the King David bombing opening revolt against the British mandate, Lehi and Igun terrorist was even planning to Assassinate U.S President Truman, many of the Zionist were openly communist too.
@Thermopylae2007
@Thermopylae2007 Жыл бұрын
US policy was probably influenced by the fact that the area of modern day Israel had been a part of the British Mandate (Trans-Jordan) into which they allowed Jewish immigration following the Balfour Declaration of 1919. In the aftermath of some violence from the local Arabs, the Jews created their own militia which eventually became the Haganah and ultimately a resistance movement against the British. The British also put caps on Jewish immigration after WW2 in response to the concerns of local Arabs but could not stem the tide of the incoming migrants and soon found themselves under attack by terrorist factions that eventually convinced the British to abandon their Mandate. For US officials to support the State of Israel from the outset would have entailed giving legitimacy to an uprising against their British allies within just two or three years after WW2 had finished. It was an awkward situation to say the least.
