Right? 3D printing modeling is so under represented in these kind of videos/tutorials.

Deciding what to texture and what to model is also important considering the purpose of the model. For videogames for example is more optimal to leave some details to the texture instead of modeling them.

What about selling assets? On a market place? Should they be quad based? Because we don't know if that model needs to be deformed?
@TheTimeProphet10 ай бұрын
You forgot Autodesk Mudbox. I start in 3DS Max and build a base model, and then go to mudbox to finish off when doing organic models. Zbrush has a horrible interface.

Yay! It's so great! btw, have you checked out Hyperhuman's Rodin 3d modeling AI? It's so good it will replace 3d modelers soon! But since you looooove AI, I think you are okay with being replaced by it, right?

What if you want to use the 3D models you want to create for epic cinematic. Would I still have to have low resolution models just so that my computer doesn’t take forever with all these crazy renders.
@jlmussi9 ай бұрын
Create a mesh with clean topology, and you can set it to subdivide at render time. Test your renders incrementally as far as your samples, most people crank all their samples up, use gigantic texture size. Also you can use a denoiser in your render to keep your render times down. Hope that helps.

Yes it is. I do my homework before every video. They just changed the checkout process, similar to gumroad, where there is a pay what you want approach, even free. However, I do recommend donating to them for their hard work and creating such a great app.

@@moonashait's a kick in the nuts for artists. Having their work basically copied with no credit. And putting artists out of work. Ai basically uses art that is online already. So yeah, people losing their livelihoods due to something that is actually quite unethical, due to copyright/licences,/credit. people will get annoyed about it.

@@madeeasy7148lately, I’ve been thinking AI art isn’t the problem. It’s arrogant AI artists that will steal the work of regular artists, and then mock them for it. An artist I enjoy named Amy Winfrey made a great video about it.
