Yep. I feel like that happens a lot. You wait forever for a champ and then once you pull the first copies, the dupes come piling in. At least the dupes aren't as painful now that we have epic empowerment.

Loving this we have been spoilt Christmas has come early respect to you colred and ash.. Any champion you don't spend money on is f2p I have prime and I got genbo to me he is f2p so it's a different perspective from one player to another

Thank you! And I agree with you - any champ you don't spend money on is F2P, BUT champions that were F2P in the past (like your Genbo) may no longer be F2P today. I wanted to make my list from the standpoint of a new player starting the game, so I excluded past fusions, etc. for that reason. Thanks for the comment!

Edit: I'm a heavy equipment operator, so that hours long gear explained video sounds awesome to listen to at work. Just something not visually stimulating that I can absorb the info by hearing. Love this nice weekend talk show on both channels. Thanks guys and I totally agree with Boozor at the end. Mtg isn’t going to let Raid die when forking 680 million dollars to buy Plarium. Raid generates 20 mil monthly. Mtg will want their investment safe for now at least lol. And I think Aristocrat had a lot to say about how Plarium handled Raid. Will there be changes in the packs and offer no that’s their money but we might see QOL changes and maybe listening to community more. Maybe lol

I just did a video on this myself using fairly common champs: High Katun leading for speed, Visix for decrease speed, Jetni and Zargala for decreased defense, and Coldheart for nukes. speed tune the team so that they will attack in the proper rotation. At level 40 of the tower it works well, but will probably need adjusting higher up.

Yeah, this is a good approach. Speed tuning for Dark Fae is typically necessary, because you have to handle the champion copies before doing anything else. As you progress up the tower, this approach will continue to work, but the stat requirements for beating the boss will increase.

I don't think every CC should do everything. Boozor is excellent at end-game content and his audience expects to see end-game content. So I don't think he should bother starting a new account. There are new CCs doing early-game and mid-game contents. During the Hellhades challenge (which I refuse to call "free2play challenge" as this is not about being free2play or not), I was frustrated to see all CCs doing the same kind of content at the same time. This said.... account progression doesn't necessary mean you lose viewers. My account is now about as advanced as Colred's, so I don't learn many tips any more on his channel, but I keep watching because his videos are pleasant to watch, and it is always good to have his opinion on fusions, events, and so on...

I agree - the strength of a CC community is in its diversity. If we all did the same content, then there would be no need for 200 CC channels to even exist.

One tip that I have for F2P (and I believe this keeps you F2P) is to do Google Rewards surveys that gives you $0.1 - $0.3 google play credits for like 6 questions surveys and I pile them up for a mini pack (especially when they used to be +100% value)

I completed Dwarf faction wars the day before Shadowkin was released (with it being my last faction) to get Lydia using champs nobody would ever use today. Rugnor Goldgleam was my only damage dealer and they didn't have team presets then so you HAD to manual so he didn't kill himself (nowadays you'd just turn that ability off), Fodbor, Grizzled Jarl, Rock Breaker and Rearguard Sergeant. It was absolute pain but back then they only had 3 legos and I didn't own any of them.

Lol! I love me some JGigs - all time legend. However, J was a spender for a long time before going F2P, so I don't put him in the same category. But, to be fair, J does a lot of F2P content, and he is larger than me or Boozor, so it's a fair call out. 🫡

I´m on lvl 20 Doomtower and try to implement what you suggest here but I always end up with Doompriest + Bloodshield ring to having her soloing him in the end lol Takes about half an our and she never runs out of juice...

Ha! Yeah, that will happen for some teams. Another champ that solos like that is Apothecary, for the same reasons. As you go up to higher level bosses, that will stop working, but by then, hopefully, you'll have slightly better gear of champions that will be able to survive alongside your healer. If not, consider sticking some champs in regeneration or lifesteal gear to help them survive.

This was so informative as an up and coming content creator myself. I enjoyed every second of this video! It also helped to put so many of my insecurities with content creation to rest. To hear that the same things happen to the great ones makes me feel better about my short comings or failed videos.

My secret confession is that I listen to raid videos while I work. I love the game and am 10 months in. I don't have the time to physically watch the videos but I CAN play them on my earbuds and listen to them while I work and learn based on the creators thoughts and pov of the game. I find it so worthwhile and informative. I'm also very good at visualizing what youre saying and doing so, me personally, it's almost like I'm watching it lol. Long story short, I really appreciate all the content you guys do and it helps me immensely. Thank you guys and keep doing content please🙏🏽

Lol! I remember the whole Ultima series. I used to play with my friend on his (original) Macintosh, but they were all grayscale. By the time I got my Commodore 64, they were in color!! Ah, the memories...😅
