I use the default desktop audio source... Then what I use is the windows volume mixer to adjust the discord audio (discord audio links with the desktop audio is obs)

Sounds like your virtual camera is not turned on... Go into vseeface setting.. scroll half way and make sure the virtual camera is on... Once it is go back to obs.ninja and wait up to a min and see if it shows.. if it doesn't join my discord and dm me... I will try to help you further

Possibly a late and silly comment, but does this only work so that one person can be the person streaming, or can both people stream at the same time to different audiences? Can both people have both avatars on both screens? I feel like this only works where one person can have a live audience and the other is sort of the "follower", but I could be wrong and just not understanding it yet!

So no... Both can stream at the same time... You just send your avatars to each other using OBS Ninja and then youre good :)

Both methods only work if one person is live and the other one is just sending them their image. What if both streamers want to be live at the same time with these methods? When I open OBS, discord pauses my window share to the other streamer so if I want to be live and share my model to the other live streamer it wont let me. Method 2 had a similair issue where as I can not use obs virtual camera because I can't greenscreen myself since I'm broadcasting gameplay myself behind me.

For method 2: Which software are you using? You can use for example Vseeface.. Vseeface's virtual camera allows you to add a green screen behind you so that will solve that problem :D The one feed will be sent out to your friend while allowing you to have gameplay behind you! Let me know

@@VtuberSenpai I'm using Vtuber Studio on steam, I can set a greenscreen on it or just let it automatically make my BG transparent. I don't think Vtube Studio has a virtual camera option. But using OBS virtual camera while streaming at the same time, I'm sending my screen to the other vtuber? I can't go fullscreen obs with greenscreen and send them that screen while streaming my own gameplay.

Not a Vtuber? No problem! But no one made that video yet? hmmm cough cough (this one) use method #2 and choose your webcam (also let me know what you were typing in search so the video that I may have linked you on how to collab with vtubers will show up for others) but basically follow that guide and replace the the vtubing webcam with your own :) Hope this helps! any questions feel free to ask!

two thing you need to make sure of... 1 that their avatar is set to the correct resolution and two you have them set to the correct resolution... past that it should work with no issues

Hi, I am trying this on vseeface but it is not working. First of all, I can't seem to get the greenscreen working on Vseeface. I added a greenscreen background from google images is in. But it still shows a grid when I click to show it. I have virtual camera enabled. Secondly, when I go to OBSninja and change the camera to virtual camera, it doesn't show anything. Just a picture of a camera icon which is crossed out. :/ Do you maybe have a solution to this?

It gives me a camera error, explaining that it could be that my camera can't record in 2 programs at the same time (vseeface and obsninja) I have tried my own integrated laptop webcam as well as my own usb webcam, both not working.

Okay no worries... So Since you added a green screen and a virtual camera in vseeface... I wouldnt worry about connecting it to OBS and using that virtual camera. So in OBS Ninja have it select the vseeface virtual camera it should work that way... If you are still having issues tho you can join my discord and send me a DM.. @@VtuberSenpai OBS ninja is what we use and as i said, it generally works. we did figure out in some way to get the model to be higher quality (but not as good as the other vtuber's model on their end) but it's doable at this point also unfortunately I am too poor for nitro, haha~ I guess we just gotta deal with it
