I do really love the encouragement to reach out to others in this. I think it can be easy to just fall in and co-stream with friends because you have good chemistry and assume that other (potentially larger) creators wouldn't be interested in working with you for any number of reasons. Have a plan, do your research, and shoot your shot!

oof i feel like i've missed out on so many collab opportunities because i ask to play offline once and chill, before jumping on to each other streams/yt vids. chemistry, play style, preferred discussion topics/humor are important. so is making sure their audio levels are good and you're not trying to figure things out live

I think that co-streaming can be really helpful and probably collab if asked, however, I think it changes the dynamic between me and chat too much for it to be something I like to do on the regular. Great video though Dan!

TBH only do collabs with smaller streamers in my chat since my sense of humour is a bit different so makes more sense. Also just have a redeem for collabs, 5K points just so when I get asked to collab in chat I can point it out and it makes answering that question less awkward.

Been thinking of getting back into streaming. I had to stop a year ago, cause I had a few things happen in real life. I felt so bad having to stop cause, streaming is the one thing that I really enjoyed doing. I loved my chatters. At that time I didn't even have a cam (a little camera shy) but still had fun with my chatters. Asking for some advice, what do you think I should do?
