Really enjoyed your video. You have a great delivery and are quite knowledgeable. My ONLY suggestion (and pleeez do this) is to ditch the 'music' looping in the background. Aside from the fact that it sounds dated, I suffer from misophonia and the repetition makes me nuts. Wish I could turn it off, but then I can't hear you. IMO, the music isn't necessary. Thanks for listening.

@AngeloMontilla2 жыл бұрын
Hi Rana! Great question. The Go to Page action only works for EPub or Publish Online, not Interactive PDF. Because it's a PDF that is being uploaded to Flipsnack, using Bookmarks is the best way of navigating to specific pages within the document. If you are doing an EPub or Publishing Online, then yes, use Go to Page. Thanks and have a great day!

Can I just double being - being a super beginner -> you use in-design to initially put all content and photos in and then you take it to acrobat pro dc. can i ask why ? and then you convert it to pdf in flipbook as the final product? If i wanted to do a power point presentation, would i just use the flipping of pages animation ? and for magazine-like effect , i would use in-design ? are there any templates of complete flipbooks so that i can just input the information or AI programs that can help ?

I agree with you though, I think it would be great if any of these flipbook sites could support the animation but it would have to be another way other than uploading a PDF. All the best!

@AngeloMontilla2 жыл бұрын
Hi Juliana! The page turn is a Flipsnack effect and can be done by simply navigating to the next page or hovering in the upper corner and dragging the page yourself. I set up those logos as buttons in InDesign to go back to page 1 quickly. I cover that in the tutorial at the 4:01 mark. I hope that answers your question.

Hi Angelo! I have 2 questions: 1- If we move some interactive objects from a document to another one (Copy+Paste) will we loose interactive specialities we set up before? 2- What is the differense between "Go to page" and "Go to destination"? Thank you in advance 🙏
@AngeloMontilla2 жыл бұрын
Two amazing questions! 1. The interactivity carries with it. However it's important to note that if you carry over a button that had an Action to a specific project, when you paste it in the new document, it will merely be a button with no Action at all. 2. Go to Page only applies to ePub and Publish Online. It will not work for PDF Interactive. So while you can apply a button to Next or Previous in PDF, using Destination is a great workaround that works just like Go to Page. It just takes a little more work to set it up.

Hi Angie! Yes you can share the custom link out on Social Media and embed the project to your website so viewers can flip through the pages.
