Learn how to create animated infographics with Adobe Animate

Thank you for the kind words! Don't be intimidated! You're basically animating and coding at once as this infographic can be exported for HTML purposes as well. I am certain doing something like this would be easier in After Effects if you want a video or GIF, but you lose the capability of using it for web. Take care! 🙂

I was wondering how I can create an animated chart. If I want to use d3.js on my website Adobe Animate is helping me out to write the code? If I would write it in d3.js directly it would give me a lot of headache how to animate a chart and especially I want to tell a story shown my multiple charts on my webpage.

I can't add shape tween to the shapes; following your exact steps but it's greyed out as an option. There is something diff about your shapes imported from illustrator than mine when I imported - When you double-clicked into own timeline for first shape, top left of frame says "Scene 1 _1", mine says "Scene 1 Drawing Object". I assume this is causing me grief but I can't figure out the fix. Please advise? Thanks.

It is because Angelo has the shapes as a symbols and then he can enter them and work in their own timelines. To do that you click on shape, press F8 and create graphic symbol. When you do that, then double click on the shape, you get into its own timeline. I hope it makes sense. :)
