Thank you very much! I don’t know why I was trying to make this so hard. Now I can get my project going, and I was getting pretty frustrated. Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones!

thank you so much for making this video! I'm making my dog a new collar and wanted to use parts from the old one. I'm new to crocheting and also have a learning disability so I need to go slow when I'm learning and this helped me so much!

I did something very similar with the help of plans from the stodoys.

I tried really hard to make this. It would have been less aggravating and annoying if your hands had been in the frame. I could only hear the instructions a lot of the time and could NOT SEE. thank you for trying.

Are you familiar with crocheting inside magic rings? It is essentially crocheting into a yarn ring, and looks exactly like what she is doing here- without the step for making the loop of yarn of course. She is using single crochet stitches to crochet onto her ring in this video. Try looking up videos of how to crochet in the round, and the first layer of stitches will look exactly like what is happening in this video. Hopefully you can discern enough from this video to see how she attaches the yarn to the ring for the first stitch, and from there on you can use other tutorial videos to help you. If you are confused by what I mean, or have a hard time finding videos to reference let me know and I'll try to help further.
