@deenimmin just catching the rest of today’s show on replay. We have the same fear of going into a place where you can’t exit! It’s terrifying. I went into one of those Tennessee cave places, and I was like half of the way into this cave area and I almost pushed people out of the way to get out. I just started booking to the entrance. I was so panicked. It’s actually a fear that becomes more common after your 30s 😬

I'm on west coast time so I unfortunately miss your livestreams. But I hope to get a respond nonetheless. If not I understand. You guys are busy. The question. Recently my Facebook blew up. From 1 k to 80k followers in a month. And also made some money. Around 1500. But do you know of any good strategies. To bring those followers over to KZbin? I feel like Facebook blocks external links automatically. If you have any insights it'd be highly appreciated Cheers. Phil

It's tough to get people to jump platforms. People like their preferred handful of "comfortable" ones. Facebook are particularly tough on reach on posts that actively send people off platform. The best course of action is to meet people where they are. If you have people who follow you there, serve them there. Will you get some crossover? Some. Over on KZbin, you'll attract a slightly different audience - they will vibe with your content in a different way than people on Facebook.

is it legal to draw fan art on youtube ? I see tons of videos like that but is there a chance that the video will be taken down by the owner of the characters you draw let's say Disney or any other company ?
@NickNimmin3 ай бұрын
Drawing certain IPs can get your videos taken down or demonetized. Some companies are more protective than others. I would recommending doing the research, talk to creators in the same or similar niches, etc.

Hi Can anyone explain me why does the watch time decreases It reached 111 a week ago since I started my channel one month ago But now it’s 76 😢
@NickNimmin3 ай бұрын
I'm not sure the context, but in the case of recent watch time, it's more likely adjustments once views ands watch sessions have been validated. Validation usually occurs in the first 72 hours after a view is recorded.

First level, when you get to 500 subscribers and 3000 hours of public watch time, you can apply for the fan funding portion of the KZbin Partner Program. Then you can get Super Chats, Stickers, Thanks channel memberships and merch integration. After that, 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours of public watch time, you can apply for ad revenue on long form and Shorts. You can also monetize outside of KZbin in various ways - kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHXVdauae5eZi80si=sNCSyQLG006bWrFD

So, me as a premium viewer will subscribe to a channel if they do that? Ergo, as someone who have been using yt for 14 yrs (confirm if needed) will tell viewers (on my own platform) what to look out for. If your content is low quality, AI driven, sources not cited, etc... if content creators indiscriminately 'remove' comments for now valid reason... I look at that... besides there are MANY streaming platforms and sorry but yt had a good run... but yes, it is about how to essentially essentially manipulate people to earn more money... that is the undeniable truth... delete this and prove my point
@NickNimminАй бұрын
I'm not sure what point you were speaking to nor what point you're trying to make. There's a lot of topics discussed over a 3 hour live stream.
@xXstevilleXxАй бұрын
@@NickNimmin Sure, my bottom-line point is simple, you can have a 30 hour discussion insofar as "how to gain subscribers and get more views to make more money", yet ultimately all of it is predicated upon having viewers in the first place. If you do research, you will find viewers are leaving this platform in droves (trustpilot though not the best in terms of stats is useful in that what I said is a through narrative). Without viewers, what is the point of having a channel? There is none. Many words, I apologize for that, but finding out why viewers are leaving in the first place should be the starting point. I am not sure what the future for yt looks like, but as things stand it is not looking great.

@@NickNimmin Also thanks for the reply. Regardless, KZbin firmly stands behind Content creators, not viewer, not remotely. Trust and Safety is no longer a priority, advertising and making money is. Thanks for taking time to read.

We're not seeing any mass exodus. People come and go. We did see a correction from the volume of views coming in due to the pandemic a few years ago - a course correction if you will back to the norm - but KZbin is still in a league of its own. I would say that viewers are always their focus - its future is the right balance between viewers, creators and advertisers. The platform needs all three.
@xXstevilleXxАй бұрын
@@NickNimmin true, people come and come but if you go to trustpilot you will see what people (Creators and Viewers) complain about the most. The majority of changes needs to come from youtube, excessive ads, relentless bans and censorship, bots, deleting some channels based on allegations while other channels (like mrbeast) might as well ignore guidelines, so while content creators and viewer can work together as you said, unless youtube address all the issues you will see more and more people move to alt platforms, in fact, think of any big content creator go to say rumble, unlike any time prior to now, this have not happened. youtube needs to split from google (the DOJ is in fact planning on doing so) see what people who have been on this platform for as long as myself know, is that quality of content is now optional, if it stick and generates income, that is all they really care about.
