I really want to cry with how much you do for us strangers. You are so selfless it's not funny. You could just live your own life outside of this...you could of even put this in a course and have us pay for this information but this? All 3 hours of teaching? I'm officially calling you Prof. Blake

I feel the same way this is so selfless. It's overwhelming emotionally to me that Roberto is so transparent and shelling the real deal. I've been my own boss for 15 + year but new to KZbin.

On the 15th minute of the video. I love it how you say to approach KZbin as a business opportunity. This is how I see it completely. It is a marketing tool and acts as a portfolio depending on the direction one takes. There's levels, layers to this. Meaning the content creator economy is deeply connected to the small business community level. Small businesses are becoming content creators. In fact, in my local area, I encourage people to view their social accounts and websites as the extension of their business.
@YogawithAliBeale3 жыл бұрын
You hit so many points from optimizing learning through video, getting out of debt to producing quality and putting in the work that content creators need to hear. So much respect and appreciation for you for what you are doing. From someone who is an adult (42), living with multiple auto immune conditions (health care) this is so real. I've been my own boss for 15 years but just starting creating content who isn't monetized I still treat it like it's going to be my carrier. Thank you.

This is AMAZING info, thanks Roberto! (And I’ll bet brands/ sponsors are watching this now and going “ah, no! Don’t tell em that Roberto, now we’re gonna have to pay more!”) 😂 As a tiny channel, I’m currently earning a low 4-figures from affiliate marketing, so this stuff works. And I’m definitely slowly adding on different income streams (or experimenting, rather) to see what else sticks. Your advice has been invaluable. Thank you!

@@RobertoBlake I was watching into the early hours on replay. I think I went to bed just after 3am UK time. I've still got the last 30 minutes to watch. In the UK well would call this a penny drop moment. Basically when fog clears and you get real clarity about what NEEDS to be done to take the next step in the right direction. I've watched so many other YT advice channels over the past 6-8 weeks and their advice is good but your video made all the pieces fall into place. I now have a real sense of direction, instead of just blindly making videos, in the hope something might work eventually.

I'm going to have to revisit this tomorrow since this is such a jam-packed jam session! lol. You're always so helpful and knowledgeable. I don't put "all my beads in one basket", but I'm telling you...all these different things I'm trying to do is a real bear on time management. No time for the hubby. I have a full-time job again now, too. So, there's lots to do, but you're correct in how quickly "normal" employment can end. I tell my jewelry students this all the time and recommend eventually building up to create their own website after they get comfy breaking into eCommerce via Etsy, KZbin, etc. Getting traffic to your own site is a major hurdle, but you can utilize that traffic to send to your site. Many of my beading students are usually very timid of even opening an Etsy store at first. Bless their hearts. I've deactivated my jewelry side of my projects since the move to a new state and have focused more on digital and KZbin, but I'll be reevaluating how much time I'm spending on KZbin and social media. It's not anywhere close to replacing a full time job, much less a great income. Digital is a great thing to learn and grow because I can create one graphic and although it's a lot of work from the start...it can be re-sold many times over while I sleep. Great tips. In the words of the Terminator, "I'll be back!". lol. Also, I think the baby should make more guest appearances. lol.Sparkle on!

College to me has the same function as school does and it's teaching you about socialization. That's the most valuable lesson in life since you have to know where you stand in society and learn how to place yourself wherever you want to. College has the plus effect of showing you are "obedient" because if you can cope with all the papers and schedules in college you might be of the same quality in other areas, too. As far as knowledge is concerned, however, KZbin alone can give you a full master's degree in almost whatever you want to learn. Getting hands dirty does the rest to solidify that knowledge.

Being the owner of 1 house and another one that will be paid off in a few years and not having a car note I don't need much money to live on. I donate more money than some people make. I believe in people making each other money so some of the jobs that I get I am able to pay someone $30 an hour to do some of those jobs so that I can do volunteer work. I have a brother who was in corporate law and land development, He was able to retire at the age of 36 with 0 debt. He now does consultant work and public speaking a couple times a year that brings in 7 figures for him but he donates most of that money

Question Roberto! I appreciate all of your information. It's very helpful. I'm watching the replay but do you have people helping you keep track of this all? I am trying to have a channel but my main issue is not having enough time to do all this myself but not quite enough money to pay for people to help me. How do you just start small, make money and keep it manageable until you can afford to get help?

Roberto I had a question on the "Category" on videos. It's a bit confusing only because you'd think people would actually choose what should go here but I notice almost all videos will be set to People & Blogs. Does this even effect your video and does it determine how KZbin might promote your video? For instance if you are doing camera videos, I'd think you would use Film & Animation but I just put People & Blogs because that's what everyone does lol. Thanks for the help!
