I really like your teaching style. You don't go off on tangents like so many video instructors do. You make the program about the project itself instead of about you. You take it slow. You sew carefully. You speak clearly. Your graphics are appropriate and interesting. Thank you. . . . . I guess I can figure out the pockets on my own.

I made one but I rounded off the corners of the flap and added a snap closure!

Hi folks from MakeitCoats thanks for sharing this video tutorial with online viewers I'm searching &watching other video tutorials on making cases/covers for projects such as ipad, tablet, phone etc. I was searching for the some of the best sewing tutorial & this was one of the best one's I've find. The idea of this project is great but I found the instructions to be somewhat lacking in detail. For instance, I watched the video 4 times before I realized how the pocket was made (no mention, just a glimpse of it in the video, if you blink, you miss it.) I put Velcro on the flaps to keep it closed. If I were to do this again, I would figure a way to make a secure opening on side so I could plug in tablet.

The instructions, which are clear, lack sufficient detail (size of batting, ?pocket? and the binding is poorly stitched.
