Never painted a wave before and don't live close to any ocean. I would have thought you would have painted the wave out in the ocean then have finished it in splashing onto the shore and the sand. I guess you're never to old to learn something. love you videos!

You are an awesome painter, and teacher! I haven't used Acrylics before, other than the folk art kind in the bottles. I must be using the wrong brush , or I haven't prepared my canvas correctly. Not sure why my strokes are so streaky, and my paint just comes off when I try to blend . Guess I have a lot to learn lol. I will keep trying though I'm having fun. Ever thought of putting out DVDs?THANK YOU!.....

Around 4:40 in the video, you talk about stepping away to look at it. My stepfather is a painter and he suggested looking at it in a mirror or taking a photo of it to give you a chance to look at it differently and it will help you to see what doesn’t look quite right or where you need more highlights etc.
