Thanks Kenza, I attribute my success to not only taking the FE Bytes course, but all of the supplemental guidance, structure, and tips that you shared with me. The extra time and attention you put into your students in answering questions about problems encountered really made the difference and PPI can't even compare to it.

This is so exciting!! I did the same thing with graduating with my Civil Engineering Degree from Michigan State University in 2000. Jeff, the same thing happened to me when I graduated, missing it by 1 point and I was discouraged. I work in construction as a field engineer, but want something more; which was my motivation to take the exams. I approached it a little backwards though because I went for the hardest exam first so that I wasn't intimidated by the FE. After a couple of attempts, I passed my PE in Transportation Engineering last April 2019 and as of now, I am getting ready to sit for my FE in Civil Engineering next weekend.

Passed the civil fe a week ago. Thought did really bad after exam but passed it! Finished the whole exam in like 4 hours. There were so many conceptual questions that don’t take time. Some questions are super easy. One question was: what does GPS stand for?!!

Hey Jeff: This is inspiring. I am taking my exam this morning and am just getting some motivation before I wake up my kids get breakfast and drive to the exam. I am a Biologist by education from 2001 and did not discover Engineering until I got a job as an environmental consultant in a small Engineering firm and ended up taking on drafting and engineering work to help make submittals in time. I have been in the engineering industry for 17 years and finally decided to go for it! Thanks for the motivation!

So I took it and did not pass but I got the feedback I need to study those areas and try again. As a non-engineer by experience only I have a significant challenge ahead but I am going to take it again in the fall. I will be watching more of your videos!!!

Hello! I have an FE Review Manual from the year 2000 as well as a newer one from 2014. Would the 2000 still be good to study with? Or do you know which subjects in there i should probably avoid?
@endograce3 жыл бұрын
Jeremy, my understanding is that the latest edition of the FE Review Manual is formulated for the possible questions that are in the exam question database that will be randomly selected for your exam. Check NCEES and download the latest before you take your exam!
