I am a new drummer inspired by you, 46 years old this year and taking the steps to finally live my dream to play drums…. I have small hands and not very strong to diagnoses of combo of lupus and arthritis called connective tissue disorder… can you please help me choose the best drums sticks or at least where to start to find my perfect stick as I know this is preference. Drums are so awesome, but really hard to be decent at. I'm a guitar player, but LOVE drums just as much. Never could afford a kit though. Only times I've ever played, is on stage. Lol. I can keep a groove but that's about it. You'd be surprised how good you can look, with a good sense of rhythm, and a feel for the song. Being a writer helps you follow a song you don't know. (Like someone's original, at an open mic).
