I've learned playing this song a few weeks ago, it's a great song! First, it was very difficult to play this song but it became better week by week! I love playing this!

Sweet song chris, and the guitar sounds amazing. A long way from exmouth festival, and going from strength to strength. Keep those tunes coming.

Very nice piece and a truly amazing work from the right hand. Precise, subtle, yet groovy. I gave it a go using the vid' (not the tab): found it very difficult especially when trying to keep it clean. Great Job!

@MoACbillielang aha! I sure did didn't I. Yeah, I wrote it after coming back from a trip to germany, to play at the musikmesse in frankfurt...went over to mannheim for a few days after, was a having a jam with my friend in a flat there...and this came out!

@TheOldSpirit no problemo, its a pleasure. the first x is a slap, the second two are muted notes. Mute with fretting hand...does that make sense??

@ChrisWoodsGrooveGuitar11 жыл бұрын
Hey Strabbs12345 thanks for purchasing! - So glad your enjoying it. What do ya mean exactly?..do ya mean each groove from the app as more of a song rather than a short riff/groove?

hey could you make a video tutorial for this song? im a visual learner and it would really help!
@ChrisWoodsGrooveGuitar13 жыл бұрын
@TheOldSpirit hey, wow! well found..yeah, sorry just found the mistake. it's spot on except the second chord, which read 565 when it should be 564. Sorry!
@TheHumanGuitarist12 жыл бұрын
Hey Chris, first off I think your playing is beautiful, your songs are very sweet. Your percussive technique is soft and pleases my ear. A lot of the percussive style I hear is very rough and sometimes even takes away from some artists' tunes but yours compliments your songs perfectly. Having said that, I'm very interested in learning this song and rolling hills but the links for the tabs on your site seem to be down, I was wondering if there's any other way of obtaining them? Regards, -Alex
@TheOldSpirit13 жыл бұрын
@chriswoodsgroove Yeah sounds better now thanks! Also one other thing that confused me, in the tab for section D (4 in the video) theres 3 X's written after the first chord of each phrase - obviously one is the slap, what do the others mean? thanks so much for putting this up here, its great to learn x

Hello, can anyone tell me if that is a standard, out of the box martin 000x1ae?. it doesn't look like one. That guitar top is fantastic and looks so nice. in all his videos, the guitar top is much darker than the guitar in real life or in other videos. it looks almost cedar color.
@ChrisWoodsGrooveGuitar7 жыл бұрын
Carlo De Vivo MusiContent hey there, it is indeed a 000X1, not the electronic model...but the same sitka spruce top. it's aged well. I have another which is lighter, but going the same way. this model is about 10years old.

Hey ***** thanks so much! - When I recorded this we just used an LR BAGGS M1 the one I'm using is branded by Takimine, but its still really LR BAGGS
@SuperMIKEFREE11 жыл бұрын
Chris Woods Groove Thanks Chris, I'm playing a Takamine ETN 10C with a CT4B preamp which sounds and works OK, but to my ears not as acoustic sounding as my Avalon 201 with a Fishman Prefix. I notice a lot of Takamine players using a sound hole pickup, I bought the Tak a year ago thinking their on Pre amps were the best. None of the Takamine guys here want to talk about it much. Love your music and sound, must try LR BAGGS.
