Hello Chris, do you know if there are any pickups for soundhole of a 7 string guitar? Great playing, greetings Ramón.
@ChrisWoodsGrooveGuitar6 күн бұрын
Ah ya mean magnetic pickups? Not sure if there is something smagnetic and pecifically designed for acoustic. However the pickup in this which is piezo is very powerful and clear.
@ramonleonegea6 күн бұрын
@@ChrisWoodsGrooveGuitar But I want to record without noises of the neighbours, and that is only possible with a magnetic pickup. I use one for my classical guitar, with steel strings covered with nylon, suitable for classical guitar. I stopped playing multistring guitars because there are no magnetic pickups for those.

Great playing! I had a question. Do you know if you can record audio (from singing mic) directly from to acoustic live amp into a laptop music program like garage band? Thanks

@ so I used two inputs. One was the di out the back of the amp direct to recorder and the other was a condenser mic.

When i start a track, the track syncs to rhythm. But when i switch to next track, the second track is out of sync with rythm. All my tracks have sync switch on. Whether i am on immediate or measure sync mode, the track does sync to rhythm after switching to second track. Any insights?

from an outdoor use perpective how does this compare with the boss street cube 2 - the cube has more funcitonality ? how about the stereo sound - width?
@ChrisWoodsGrooveGuitar3 ай бұрын
An interesting question. This amps unqie strentgh is the 'air feel' or mic placement settings. I adore my cube street 2 and love this...I'd say the AC22LX is something that enhances and accompanies, a real acoustic speciality...where as the cube street 2 is very much THE busking amp. Two different beasts but both can fullfil both roles.
@mandolin-george-uk3 ай бұрын
@@ChrisWoodsGrooveGuitar that is very helpful as I need to purchase something=-Thanks . I like the spec on the StreetCube 2 plus the multiple ins and outs. Have you had any experience with the Alto Busker? The big advantage (to me ) is that when either street2 or alto is on ground and you look at controls. ---The street2 is upside down but the alto is the correct way up. With boss you have to go in front of the amp to make adjustements (feedback and neck craning?) unless you are adept at using it upside down.. (which will be challenging for me) . The Alto seems a better design (easier to adjust from behind the amp) but does not have all the features of the Boss STreet cube 2 ...... ps I ordered a Fishman Neo D humbucker to try with my old Martin travel guitar - poor resonance - but maybe now things will change. !!

@@ChrisWoodsGrooveGuitar Good to hear from you. I was astounded by the sound you are creating. I am looking to order the Fishman Neo D humbucker as I am disappointed with piezos. I have a small Martin with easy neck (for a mandolin player ) but terrible tone and maybe a magnetic might save it and put it into use. My looper arrives today - your videos have been a great inspiration. I was in the middle east and have a (hard to tune) oud - im staggered how such a simple technique can create a similar sound. I need to look into the pickup you are using and need a larger Martin or similar or electric oud ! Thanks Chris

Hey thank you for the job! I have a question: I want to control delay effect (on and off) with the pedal 9 , on mode one/ and I want this delay to go just on my input instruments not on the all loop. Can you tell me how to do ? thank you so much. sorry for the English , I'm a French guy.
@ChrisWoodsGrooveGuitar4 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment. It can be done. But a little tricky to explain here and I don’t have my pedal in front of me as I write this sadly. you will need to go through a few different menus. There is a rc600 group on Facebook if you pop this question in there you will get some super detailed responses

Hi, great playing! I need a small and light weight amp like this. Can you please answer these three questions: 1. Can you recommend this amp for busking? 2. Will it be loud and clear enough? 3. I'm playing percussive guitar and wonder if the low frequency range on this amp is good enough to produce a decent bass kick from the guitar? Would be very grateful for any answers you can provide.

Thanks for the comment. Yes I'd say yes to all...both this and the cube street II have excellent bass responce...handles me plugging in a cello too :)

Hello. Really nice piece of music. I just upgraded from rc-50 to RC-600, and was looking for inspiration... You definitly hit the nail ! Thank you so much. Your other video on getting creative with rc FX was really fun and inspiring too. I was wondering something. Do you go straight to the rc, or do you process your guitar sound before going in ? I'm guessing the guitar is a big part of it, to start with. And the beautiful mics in the room sure helps a lot ! I'm currently trying my luck with some IR pedals and EQs to get the sound I really want from my acoustic. I was wondering about your process, because it sounds awesome.
