I have been a Christian for 40 years, one never stops learning and growing. I take back my words and pray for a resolution. I am not one to hold a grudge but with her I have. Gods word (Bible) has all the answers for life. When we are saved He gives us the ability to follow His word. Salvation is as simple as asking God to forgive our sins, believing Gods son Jesus died on the cross for our sins and He has risen...and we are forgiven when we ask/repent, and telling Him we will follow Him...with His help. @@framboise595 Hello Isabelle, the Bible teaches the wife to be submit to her husband. Although it also teaches the husband to submit to the wife. This is much easier said than done. Submission actually requires both parties to submit to God first and foremost. It will require the power of the Holy Spirit controlling both of your lives to successfully do this. DAILY and consistently developing your relationship with God will enable you both learn how to submit to each other. This is a PROCESS and probably will not come fast and easy. Who ever you choose for a mate will be the most important decision you will ever make in your life. (If you are currently single) Make a written list of the traits you would like to have in your spouse. Then develop a plan to create these qualities in yourself. NEVER rush the courting process. And realize another person will NEVER complete you or make you happy. If you are not happy, content and at peace before marriage. You will not be happy, content and at peace after marriage. It takes two mature and stable people for any healthy relationship to thrive and be successful. If you are currently married, it is Gods desire you both to work through your differences. A good councilor can help with this if necessary.

If our head submitted to our body , the human body would be completely chaotic and dysfunctional ! Exactly what marriages look like today. This is pure blasphemy. It is emasculation. Modern Christianity has embraced the misandric feminist spirit of Satan and got rid of what is written. It is not into Scripture anymore but vain female psychology telling men what to do instead of men telling women what to do. Easier said than done ? Really ? How come countless "Christian " men LET their wives rule over them ? Wifely submission is THE key to marital bliss because the woman was made for the man. Not the man for the woman. You can be 100% sure that if a man does not control his wife , he will be the opne controlled by her. God put the man above the woman but false modern teachings put the woman on an equal foot with the man. Since God has NEVER intended that , don't be surprised that so many marriages are NOT blessed anymore. You don't fool the Lord . Psalm 128 Blessed the MAN who fears the Lord etc... Notice that the Bible always starts off with the man because male supremacy is divine. It is an image of the Lord out there. Who needs those ungoldy counsellors when the man RULES his household and tells his wife and children what to do ? You think that the Lord blesses disorder ? Women running the show in and out of the bedroom is pure evil. The eyes of the Lord turn away from evil.

Its true about being afraid and defensive. I'm terrified of my family because when I'm with them and there's conflict it brings out the worst in me when I get upset and say things or shout. It doesn't happen around friends as there is respect between us. There's a lot of hurt that's happened in our past that terrifies me that they could do it again. I've forgiven it, but sometimes my family members justify what they did to me again and I then get scared and angry about it all. It's like a sleeping volcano that could reappear.

Recently I've been having trouble with my parents, they get angry over simple things and through the power of the holy spirit I was able to talk to them about my testimony. But they have difficulty understanding and I'm stuck in the middle with whether I'm speaking wrong or they are.
