i don't know if you read these things, but i'm a substitute with a bunch of areas on the teaching license. I want to add high school math, and if i can teach half as good as yourself i think the students would come alive for math. In minutes i learned things that some of them take weeks to comprehend. (but i'm a geek that way). All teachers should be like you. I'm assuming you are high school? I know it is also what the community college calls precalculus algebra (I used to teach English in Comm at the local one in my area, but i like teaching high school more)

perhaps a better way to explain the sign is as follows: |2Z+5| < 2, which also can be written as |-(2Z+2)| < 2; the second expression lead to -(2Z+5) < 2 which can leads to 2Z+5 > -2 (inequality multiply by a negative factor reverses the sign. That is it!

@linusbao86505 жыл бұрын
I'm a lil confused about the "and/or" thing, isn't that very dependent on which side you happen to choose to write the variable on. For example, using the vid's inequality: A) 3|2x+5|+22 inequality A and inequality B are the same thing, but according to this vid the top inequality would be "and" while the bottom one would be "or". What am I doing wrong?
@linusbao86505 жыл бұрын
oh, is it the inequality sign of the isolated absolute value form of the inequality that determines if it's "and" or "or"? That would make sense if so.

Like if you’re here because most math instructors have trouble understanding that most students in a lower level math class in college are the students who have/had math anxiety and didn’t perform well in high school math classes and that students who do have math anxiety tend to also have interpersonal anxiety and feel like they cannot stop a class to tell a teacher to slow down or go back out of fear of looking stupid so you end up lost during lecture. So you go to KZbin to watch videos to understand better and at your own pace. Heyyyy eyyyyyy
