always thanks. i've been in the uk for a long time ago. approximately 10 years ago. i hope to visit there in this year with my wife who i met 10 years ago in the uk. anyhow you taught me no to forget eng in very uk way which was and still good in my country Korea. if i have a chance to go there have you got any time for us being in the uk?

The American pronounce it [ʊ], the English say [jʊ].

I looked it up in dictionaries and what I found is sometimes they are replaced by [jə] in unstressed syllables, that will be only a guess since I am not a linguist nor I looked for that but, in carefree speech, [j] can make schwa [ə] higher and more palatal so, it sounds more like a simpler *short* sound between the hight of [ɪ] as in dinner [ˈdɪnə] and [iː] as in beach [biːʧ], but more central. So, it is like schwa but your tongue is higher a bit.

@@papateachme I used to use it a lot, in my language until I really started to get mocking replies from certain people like "I couldn't.." or even "I would not.." So my advice would be - use it only when with good friends, otherwise you are most likely to open unwelcome exchange of words with simpletons who can't "read" between the lines 🙃

My British clients are definitely not politeeeeee lol based on my experience. ( Of course there are worse people out there . Just pointed it out cos lol British people are always expected to be well behaved and polite and reserved. That's a little bit unfair
