Is the takli spinning in your hand? I could t see what the tail hand was doing. Is this tali only good for short fibers? How long is this usable for?

Yes, I spin it in my left hand. I've only used it with short fibers, so I can only speak on that. I'm not sure about your last question...the takli is used till its full, then off load or spin with another takli. Once your second takli is full you can ply the two together.
