Thank you. I had skipped over the Bm and have been playing a different cord all these years. Thanks again for helping me to kick my playing up another notch and also helping me with the strumming patterns. 😊

I agree so much with this. Wild Horses is not that easy to do correctly, like so many "simple" songs from the Stones. Thank you for creating and posting this video 👍🏼

Great stuff. I have just finished your soloing book, so I ordered your strumming book too. I play a bit of traditional Celtic music and the strumming there can be a bit tricky, so hope the book gives me some ideas.

Hmmm, I don't move my strumming hand constantly up and down but still have no problem with the simple strumming pattern played in time well. Guess it's a drummer thing, I don't know. In any case, great break down on Wild Horses.
@GuitarLessonsVancouver2 жыл бұрын
It's still possible to play the strum correctly without swinging your arm in constant ups and downs, but it helps a lot so we don't lose what best we are on, and can help the rhythm sound smoother.. Thanks for watching!

So it is 16th note strumming and the proper counting is actually 1e&a2e&a3e&a4e&a. Down on the beats and the &s and Ups on e and a.
@GuitarLessonsVancouver9 ай бұрын
16-note is usually thought of that way yes... 1e&a etc. But honestly we can also just think of it as 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & twice. Whatever works best for you.
@m.b.85369 ай бұрын
@@GuitarLessonsVancouver That's true and I think it's much easier to count that way. I just wanted to make sure, as I've been more concerned with correct counting for some time now.

For me the Bm has to be played slower than the others chords.
@GuitarLessonsVancouver Жыл бұрын
It is a more challenging chord for sure. But you can get faster in time 👍😀
