Please mention units whenever you talk about numbers. At 1:48 you say the silicon diode has "500 drop voltage". 500 what? Millivolts? Volts?

If the Schottky diode shows 0.084 mV drop voltage on a multimeter, should it be regarded as a faulty? The datasheet for that diode says: Vf = 0.35 mV at 1A

You didn't say anything about switching the leads & testing.. that's the info i was looking for.. i have a "HIGH CURRENT SCHOTTKY BARRIER RECTIFIER" (SR506 - 60v, 5A) from a TV power supply.. that beeps both ways.. ?? i did learn in this video that they are different from regular diodes..
