1. kore / sore / are [this/ that/ that thing over there]
2. kono~ / sono~ / ano~ [this (noun) / that (noun) / that (noun) over there]
3. soudesu /sou ja arimasen [Yes, it is./ No, it is not.]
4. (S1) ka, (S2) ka [Is it (S1) or (S2)?]
5. N1 no N2 [N1 explains what N2 is about/N1 owns N2]
6. soudesuka [I see. / Is that so?]

These lessons are based from the Minna No Nihongo Textbook (1st edition), which I chose because I’m familiar with it. But even if you don’t have the textbook, you can still follow along the lessons by just watching the video.
I'm not a native Japanese speaker nor am I a Japanese language teacher. I'm currently living in Japan and I use Japanese at work and daily life. I’m sharing what I’ve learned from my language school and through self-study. I’ve passed the JLPT N3 exam and am planning to take the JLPT N2 test in the future. SOV doesn't exist. you can order words however you want as long as the ending particles and verb goes at the end as usual, also there's not necessarily a subject in japanese. its more of a topic, which is usually left out of speech for simplicity
