Why in 42-3 lesson のに is used instead of ように? I don't really understand why you used のに :C For example in first sentence "At least forty million yen is required to build the house." If it was "At least forty million yen is required to be able to build the house." it would be correct if I used ように in such sentence? Or it's beacuse of such words as かかる or ひつよう? I'd be grateful for the explanation. Your lesson was useful as always! ありがとうございました。

Where is the volitional verb form used in ために ??? Someone who knows this please clarify this doubt

I do not quite understand this as well, but I think the form of the verb (motsu) suggests if it's volitional. motsu - to have + tameni (volitional) moteru - be able to have + youni (not volitional but potential)

…ために expresses aims, benefits, and causation. Like “in order to do", “for the sake of”, or "because of" …のに expresses aims of use. Usually paired with “使う: to use,” and “役に立つ: helpful,” “必要: necessary,” and “便利: useful.” etc.
