12 years ago I got a copy of Live 8 Intro and had no clue what to do with it. Tom Cosm was one of the most helpful beginner instructors I've encountered in any field or hobby, and having him teach me about Live 11 now feels like putting on an extremely comfy and broken-in pair of slippers. Ableton's stock plugins are a real pride. Love them. Completely closed the need for third-party plugins. Soothing Restriction

I love how these tutorials always go over every dial and number, not only explaining the audible effect that those parameters have but the underlying process and, sometimes, the rationale and applications.

Yeah it seems to be a common theme of these videos. If you aren't going step by step with them in Ableton yourself to actually hear what's going on, you really won't get much from these vids.

@@basic-decaf These are not videos made to teach people how to use these devices, so I can understand the lack of detail, etc, but if I'm watching a video about a device, I'd like to hear the results of parameter changes. Otherwise, there is not much point, is there? :))) My 2012 Macbook Pro cannot handle Live 11, so all I've got are these videos.

@@KorhanErel I completely agree with you because I want to learn about these devices before getting Live 11. But, unfortunately, the videos have really poor audio mixing and pacing. They only seem to be useful if you are already following along yourself in Live 11.

@@basic-decaf I am already convinced about Live 11 and have purchased it during the initial launch at a discount. My issue is the general carelessness in some of these videos. Anyway... I think you should get Live 11 (assuming you're buying an upgrade and not from zero). It has a lot of great features that makes experimentation and production easier and more fun.

Why did you remove the "space / Earth" modes? They were the best the old phaser had. In my opinion, the old chorus, flanger and phaser are better than the new ones. They are more intuitive and sound better

I couldn't find the space modes in the phaser. I need them back... Can you update to a older version again?

@@btproducts8672 You can open a project where there is an old phaser and save it as a preset. You will find it in the user folder.

Hi, to get access to the old Phaser and/or Flanger, you can open an older set created with Live 10 that still contains one of the classic effect devices and save them up as a preset. We hope this helps, cheers!
