Redux pro tip; put the post filter on and automate rate, turns it into the coolest low pass filter that gets more lofi the lower you go. Works great on chords.

I think the intro of uprising by Muse uses this effect or something similar. At least I used it to try to recreate that effect!

special thanks to the advertising and promotion segment of Ableton. You know, your ads and guides are not a portion of annoying material that claims about itself. This is really a separate kind of art of competent presentation of daw functionality. A visual reinforcement of the quality, creativity and fun of Ableton production. Thank you. Love your daw

Love the french accent

Yes, the accent is a nice touch for the sake of aesthetics. But practically, it isnt helpful to non-native speakers who are not that well versed in English. The pronounciations are weird, and even I am having a hard time understanding what she is saying. Better to have an American or British accent for these types of videos imo
@petrasbalsys26673 жыл бұрын
@@xavierwilliams303 I had no problem understanding her.And there's always the option to turn on subtitles. You are going to learn from a bunch of different people in your life, and not all of them will speak flawless english(in fact most of them won't), so this also helps with that. And finally, for me personally, it makes the tutorial more memorable.
@xavierwilliams3033 жыл бұрын
@@petrasbalsys2667 oh yes, the subtitles. I forgot that. Yeah my point wavers a bit there. But i'm still sticking to my point. Speaking well pronounced, understandable English will always be more professional, than speaking English with an accent which is less understandable. Almost always most companies hire voiceovers who speak good English for their ads, even if the company is foreign based, therefore making it more proffesional.
@nebroskitheraut67053 жыл бұрын
It lacks a bit of proffesionalism tho
@agemxieicheren21933 жыл бұрын
@@petrasbalsys2667 I like to listen to stuff like this and do chores, and the accent makes it a bit more harder to know what is being said. Not a big dealbreaker, but I prefer the more clear American or British accent.

Why lowering the sample rate only from 40khz, and not from 44.100 or 48? That is, by setting redux to any channel, you already "degrade" the quality a little, without even starting to turn the knobs.

@@randomlivestreams5900 Firstly I don't need them. I find the french accent 'used' here quite pleasant. Others seem to have problems understanding. To them I was merely pointing to the included function available for everyone in the bottom right called: subtitles hope that cleared things up, have a nice day
@nebroskitheraut67053 жыл бұрын
@@milztempelrowski9281 yeah the french accent is good for style and produces a more softer texture (?). But I wouldnt say it is proffesional to have someone with a somewhat strong accent to do voiceovers. British or American English is more professional and there wouldnt be any problems.
@agemxieicheren21933 жыл бұрын
Yes, I would prefer the American or Briitish Accent over this :)
