Another reveal I like doing after they pick the force (and keep it) is tell them “I’m going to look through the deck to see which card is missing”. So I look at every card one by one (but really fast too and without taking my eyes off). You can also force a card but leave it on the table face down and you and the spectator look through the cards (but the spectator has to look at the cards as fast as you do).

What a great video. As an ex pro magician, these are all very simple. But simplicity is great. I used to try so hard with advanced sleight of hand and expensive gimmicks, but simple tricks with a good reveal is where its at.

The Ace siting to the side on the 7th trick got me thinking that there would be a "mess-up" reveal, then a correct one, and kind of made me think of a trick: At least two people are required. So have the forced card paper palmed already, then write a prediction (the ace) and show the person not picking the card. Be a little over confident: " I'm going to predict what card you'll pick BEFORE you even pick it!!" Play up your greatness. After showing the prediction, ball it up and false transfer and give the picker the soon to be forced card, pocket ace paper. So now the picker has an unknown piece of prediction in their hands, the rest of the audience thinks it's an ace. Then, force the card they're holding (only to them) then control it to prepare for a color change. Ask the audience what card you predicted (to inform the picker) and ask the picker which card they chose, while brandishing the incorrect ace (set up at top or something). You'll look foolish, but then state, "yeah that's what I thought, *forced card*" do a color change to the forced card and motion to have them check the folded paper. It's kind or complicated, but the idea of the prediction changing as the card you're showing changes is crazy, and I think very powerful

One thing I do when there’s a group of kids is tell one kid “ok, I want you to find the (force card)”, I also make it sound like I’m trying to think of a random card. They tell me when to stop and boom, they found it! All their friends think they actually did it, like I wasn’t a part of it. So they all want to try. And to make it seem like I’m not involved, sometimes I don’t force a card on them, they truly pick a random card.
