Im always skeptical about learning a language thru movies, and this video is a perfect example why: it took till over half way thru before a single word of chinese was spoken! this is 'teacher talk' gone wild! oh, and there IS much better stuff on KZbin

Unfortunately this is what every Chinese movie is about, that's why it's difficult to learn from Chinese movies. You're going to be watching the same genre and same story again and again. Modern Chinese pop culture is too shallow.
