Aye, Nick. A lot of people seem to forget that the main point of a drone is photography/videography and they should have a fair bit of knowledge of camera seetings, etc :)

Hi Robert, I couldn't help noticing that the young lady that appears on your thumbnail for your video is actually not in your video, I was slightly disappointed! That probably says more about me than it does about you to be fair! - However, I hope you not going to start the 'tricks!' of some of those other KZbinrs to get people to watch your videos. You're better than that, well at least I thought you were better than that. Your information, videos and channel are just great the way they are, without getting young ladies in short skirts to 'sell your wares' on a misleading thumbnail. I got 19 out of the 20 by the way. 👍

I am running an experiment to see if having an evocative thumbnail and a provocative title leads to in increased interest in a video. I ran 'non-provocative' titles and thumbnails on daily quizzes for a month as a baseline, and now I'm running the test with these type of titles and thumbnails.

@WindsweptRobert Thanks for the reply Robert. Listen, I get the idea, sentiment and marketing experiment my friend. I would understand clearly though if your channel had something to do with lingerie for example or what ever scantily clad young females are marketing these days, but your channel doesn't! - You're the 'wee nice friendly Scottish gentleman who gives great unbiased views and information on drones!' The most risqué I had you down for Robert is falling out with Highland park rangers! Perhaps I'm wrong in saying this mate, but I would have thought, just like me, the majority of your target audience will have nonchalantly, raised their eyebrows at the images of your thumbnails in your last few videos. Unless of course, you are trying to attract a different target audience!!! Listen, I wish you well, you'll always be the 'nice wee Scottish guy' to me.

If I see an increase in NEW viewers to this set of thumbnails and titles, it will mean that these types of images attract viewers regardless of the content. It's interesting to me, but also helpful when I study my channel analytics. Thanks for your kind words though :)
