I got a debatable 17 right Robert. The ones I got wrong were the range one, the best time of day (late afternoon for me as I don't and never have done mornings) and a contentious one as my done has four props which is two pairs. One pair clockwise and one pair anticlockwise. Thanks all the same, I've missed the quizz.

I'll try a series of drone quizzes out for a few weeks, but if they fail to generate a decent level of interest, I'll stop them completely. They do take quite a bit of time to create :)

15 - I counted the props on all my squadron, failed to find one with 4 pairs... which would equal 8 props. 4 Pairs would equal - 8 blades so maybe 4 pairs of - blades?😎 Best time to fly - arguably when there's least shift in directionality of light = middle of the day. Also gives the most natural balance of colour - dawn and dusk bring colour shifts away from standard view colour temperature.

im claiming 19.50. question 10 answer. you said gyroscope. not quite correct.its a gyro. Most drones have a component called a 'gyro', but it's built around a MEMS-Micro Electric Mechanical System in a chip on the flight controller board, and not on heavy spinning wheels. These components are combined into an IMU-Inertial Measurement Unit that tracks a drone's movement. still enjoyed the quiz though

A bit nit-picky, and I could put up an argument...but I'm too tired today 😴. What did you choose as your answer to that question?

I picked the props😢

Quite a few of the answers on your quiz are either incorrect or too ambiguous for a definitive answer. For example, question fifteen's 'correct' answer would have it that a drone typically has four pairs of propellers. But since a pair obviously means two, if it had four pairs of propellers, this would mean it likely had eight motors with eight rotor blades attached to them, not four. You mean how many sets of rotors, not pairs, and they are indeed rotors, not propellers. A rotor (or a propeller) has BLADES, for example, a Messerschmitt bf109 has a three-bladed single propeller. A rotor is primarily a rotary wing, a propeller is a means of thrust.
