This STABAT MATER is usually performed in LATIN and is traditionally sung during Christian Easter celebrations, particularly for Passiontide. Pergolesi's STABAT MATER can be sung by a SOPRANO and ALTO (CONTRALTO or COUNTERTENOR) or by a full CHOIR. It can be performed with just piano or organ, chamber orchestra or full string orchestra.

There is a note that is not correct according to my score. You played a Eb insted of a C in 1:16 bar 18.

Well spotted. I'm not sure if it was a misread or a misprint in the score I was using (there are so many editions all with various discrepancies). But I think you're correct that it should be a C - seems more logical for the counterpoint.
