I loved the “key” to learning the paino keys. Also the explanation of sharps and flats.

Hello, my name is Kendra Williams. And I am going to school at El Camino College in Torrance, CA. And my major is music. So, after taking the vocal classes then we level up and have to take a instruments class. So, I was put in a beginners piano's class. But, I have always loved music since I was "8" and now I just turned "22" on September, the 25th. And I don't remember or know when it happened but I have epilepsy/seizures and epilepsy is a nurological medical condition that affects someone's short term memory. So, sometimes they forget things. So, ever since I was little I had to take so many medications that my body just didn't like and was in the hospital a lot of times and then when I got to highschool I missed so many days because of my medical condition and had a device put in me which sits over the top of my heart and so many years the doctors have to replace the battery that's in it. So, today on Monday, October, 4th my mom tells me that I spoke with your teacher and you are feeling piano and I said I'm not. But, to myself I said I will personally talk to the teacher myself. And then my mother said some things to me that a mother should never say. And yes, I have a math class and taking music at the same time. But, she doesn't get it because I'm just here daughter who she takes care of who has a medical condition. But, I will literally do anything to pass these classes because I do want to graduate from college. And now I live with my mom and two brothers in our grandfather's apartment. And there is always so much drama going on that I just can't take it anymore and I always feel like everything is my fault when it's not. And yes I have a certain medical condition but, all people do and there are certain programs that we can go to so that we can respectfully have our own family and live on our own one day. But, there are four of us all together. And my mom doesn't see it she has three of her children still living at home with her. And with all the drama that my mother has caused throughout her life a lot of our family members don't even talk to her anymore. So, with all of the drama that is going on I never get any peace and quiet. And I don't get any time to practice the piano. Even though I am taking a math class I am passing it. But, it is very hard with COVID-19 because we have to be on zoom and everything and she is just yelling and running her mouth from the time we get up until the time we go to bed. Plus, she wants to talk about she loves us and does everything for us. But, she lies so well that everybody believes her and she just won't shut up. But you never know what happens behind closed doors or where anyone has to lay there head at night. So, outside of leaving my grandfather's apartment to practice the piano (well I have a keyboard) I don't know what to do but I really really want to play the piano. So, what am I supposed to do? Because, no one knows what you are going through unless they seen it or has been though the same thing. So, please won't somebody tell me what am I to do?

here's several tips for how to learn piano Try practicing for 1 hour each day, or just half an hour if you short of time. Do more practice whenever you have more time. For example, on weekends you could do more than an hour, perhaps two or three, or even more. This is very helpful because it pulls you out of the routine of piano playing, and lets you practice more and perfects the pieces you play. (I discovered about these and more from Denelle Piano Lesson site )

Cool Corey, good way to think about that.
@SaxStation6 жыл бұрын
It has to do with the length of tube that the air travels through and standing waves are set up within the horn. If less keys are pressed, it's like the tube is shorter. If all the tone holes are covered, the standing wave uses the whole length of the saxophone and you have a lower note. Kind of like how a tuba is a longer tube than a trumpet and so it's lower.

I'm going through these videos one after the other right now (not to learn piano, just to learn about music in general), so don't answer this if it's explained in a later video, but I'm just gonna leave the question here anyway: Why is there no B sharp and E sharp?
@CoreyLennox2 жыл бұрын
There actually is a B sharp, and that’s the note C! Remember, sharping a note just means going up a half step, it doesn’t necessarily mean a black key. Same thing with E# which would be F.
