Well the Brazilians do pronounce the letter D as G. So the word 'Bon Dia' in Brazilian sounds like 'Bon Gia'.

This is great! I must say that I find Portuguese from Portugal easier to understand than Portuguese from Brazil. In my opinion, it's a lot similar to Spanish. I am fluent in Spanish (it was my first language) and I must say I can relate to it a lot more than the Brazilian version. Maybe phonetically it's more familiar. I think it's odd that the Brazilian version pronounces letters T and D as "Chee" and "Gee." For example, forte is pronounced "for-chee" and onde is pronounced "on-gee." For me, those are some clear indicators between Brazilian and European Portuguese. My goal is to one day visit Portugal and speak Portuguese instead of speaking Spanish. I'm sure the Portuguese people would appreciate my effort.

In some regions of Brazil, mainly the northeast and some parts of south, we speak the T and D like in spanish and portuguese from Portugal, with the sounds "Te" and "De" instead of "Tchee" and "Djee". Anyway, the portuguese of portugal is beautiful and you'll be able to comunicate both with brazilians and portuguese.

It's portuguese and this version is not just European since it's spoken in Africa by more than 40millions and in Asia but some minority states/provinces like Macau(just richer than hong Kong and New York) and dio, as well as in Oceania in timor. It's not European portuguese, it's global portuguese that doesn't include America

The first time I told somebody I wanted to learn Portuguese they said “Why don’t you just learn Spanish?”. Well, because I’m more interested in Portuguese. It looks similar to Spanish written down, but the pronunciation is actually quite different.

Voice says "ainda" where text reads "anda". Those are different words with different meanings. With "ainda" the meaning is "Even more slowly".
