These lessons are so valuable for someone like me,originally from Philippines. Thank you so much..I had a stroke September 2020...then diagnosed with breast cancer May 2021..I kind of give up on life ( lol ....not sure now if used the word "kind of" )..but today I happened to found your site.It made me feel alive again.Learning is really important to me...Back in the Philippines...Being poor, I supported myself in college like you said...blood, tears and sweat...I have worked foe 32 years as a Registered Nurse here in America...When I had stroke and cancer..I was terminated after 1 year of disability by my employer...Your free classes gave me this tremendous positive happiness I couldn't explain....I probably can't afford your classes ,I havent checked the prices.yet..😆 ..thank you so much...you have no idea, you lifted this cloud above me...Im divorced since 1997...so the feeling of isolation is gone

Lisa, you made me realized that I don’t speak enough English on the daly basis. Spanish is my first language and it’s so rooted in myself, that it’s so hard to give it a break and sometimes I feel that in order to learn English better, you are obligated to cut down your dose of Spanish speaking that way English becomes more familiar. You are an absolutely amazing teacher. I love your method of teaching. Thank you.

Lisa, you were the only English teacher who told us the truth about the difficulties we could have in becoming fluent in any language we want to learn. Most teachers, especially on You Tube, say that it is easy to learn a language, and even more: they promise that people can learn it in three months. I know it's impossible, even if you live in the United States. I have friends who have been living in Miami, NYC and other cities since the 80's and they don't know everything.

I have been looking for good content online to keep my level of English as I just finished a course of six months abroad. Now, back in my country I don't have the chance neither improve nor to keep the level I reached. But, fortunately I found your channel that provides way tips and advices to thrive. As you said learning a new language is a blood, sweat and tears activity. Regards from Bogotá.

There's a video of yours where you were teaching about the advanced English words. I wrote all of them down, and I've been using them a lot, to an extent that I can now retrieve them easily. That has really improved my English with leap and bounds! We really appreciate your effort, considering the fact that some of us have never attended any English classes, but here we are, speaking this language like the native English speakers 😅. I'll keep on watching your videos because you explain in a simple way even the complex lessons ❤

I'm really content to take part this channel, i vividly remember ASAP when i started the journey of learning english from scratch in mind, i had to work blood, sweat, and tears. Be that as it may i was prepared up front and it wasn't easy it was dagger to the heart. The way i learnt the language wasn't to my speak. Everything was behind the scenes for hard work.🤸‍♀️
