Great lesson! Still working on connecting my 3 and 4 finger rasgueos together into continuous rhythms. Bad habits of practicing them fast means I can play them one-at-a-time at tempo now, but when I slow down to try to connect 2 or 3 of them it's like I'm playing left handed and everything falls apart. Hope my neighbor likes the sound of my metronome!

Just heard of your website through the foroflamenco and Ben Woods. Thanks for this video I will try it. Seem your content is driven to more of the advanced beginner to intermediates. I like that you have a lot of compas counting on your videos, I feel like that has been hard for me to grasp as most people say "use a metronome" but the actual counting you do when you play seems very helpful for me. I'll take a look into a subscription. Thanks again.

2:51 One thing that I notice a lot is that people teach using the index finger but use the other fingers while demonstrating.

Very true - I’ve noticed this about myself as well🙄, probably because we were all taught this way also. I still think it’s helpful to learn to use the i down as a default, and then get used to using m or m/a for when you want a bit stronger of an accent

I'm sorry, I didn't quite get the chord progression. Could you maybe spell it?

The progression is Am, Dm7, G7, CMaj7, A7, Dm, E power chord. You can see the voicings I use starting at 1:20 in the video. Cheers, Kai

@@FlamencoExplained Thank you so much, however I still have a question. I only know the Am chord that is played like this: 02210. In the video nevertheless you say you use an Am chord but your hand is placed along the 5th fret. Now I know that there still are chords that are higher up the fred but could you explain why the chord is higher up the fretboard
