@@Chantalamal I need help with language learning in general the problem I have is I keep finding movies I find interesting but they never have the Russian subtitles and often times when they do have the English subtitles they end up being different than what the Russians said. I think it's mostly because of my OCD and anxiety because I'm afraid I'll never know what the word he's saying is.

I listen to Russian music on a daily basis, I love Russian music, and I'm so excited when I hear a word in the lyrics that I know, one of my favorite Russian singers is Игор Крид, I love his song Миллион. I also love Russian movies, I watch them all the time, listening to Russian music and watching Russian movies I've found, has a benefit too, it helps me understand spoken Russian, so I guess it's good I love listening to Russian music and watching Russian movies. I hope other people learning Russian reads my post, because listening to Russian music and watching Russian movies will and can help you understand spoken Russian, but it helps to listen to music you like and watch movies you're interested in because if you're interested it makes it easier to listen to, and watch, and therefore, easier to learn. For example, if you like rap, there are a lot of Russian rappers, and so on, if you're into romance, well, there are a lot of Russian romance movies out there too. A great place to find them are right here on KZbin! On a side note, I've also found that, when learning another language, it also helps you understand your own language better. Does that make sense to anyone other than me?

Thanks for your feedback! I know that those two are popular among Russian learners but honestly, I don´t know why. In my opinion, they are not the best for learning Russian because of the language that the characters use there. I´ll see if I can find some suitable dialogues to turn them into a lesson. Boost Your Russian Oh yes, now I remember that you made a video explaining exactly why you think like this, and you have quite good arguments. Well, so I will share what I think what also could be cool: About movies, The Avengers, specially the two last movies, are quite popular and also has interesting dialogues. It could be made out of it quite of a video! For me personally, I really liked the last video about Putin. We, russian learners, are also very interested in Russia itself (конечно!), so videos on this format about news, interviews or anything related to the inner scenario of Russia it’s awesome. It get us closer to the country somehow, and we learn the language at the same time with proper vocabulary 😁
