Love seeing a brief short video instead of 30+ minutes! Only critique is it would be nice to see the commands shown on the screen longer, but it's not a big deal since you can just pause and look.

Im having a pretty hard time linking together hits like the very first AA combo. going from st.HK, qcb HK(the doable part) but only 1/10 tries can I get the follows ups to come out, let alone connect them. i assume im just bad but its really demoralizing getting stuck so early in trying to learn and it hasn't got any easier trying to grind it out ):

I think a lot of combos in this game have "hidden" timings. I recommend you wait until the 2nd hit is going to hit and then do it. Might be easier that way. Let me know how it turns out!

When you're discussing your meaty setups, you mentioned to Juggle and continue into another combo OR Throw them OR Block (Then punish). It's here I have a question. Obviously it's impossible to do all three of these options simultaneously, so how would we know what option to go for? Force them into a guessing game? Reads? Or are there tip-offs of what they're going to do that I'm not seeing? Great video by the way.

Thats a great question! Usually I do a meaty attack first (preference) and if they block the first situation I'll try to throw on the second situation to see how it might work. For blocking, if I dash up and throw, its mostly because I feel the opponent is willing to do nothing. I dash up and block to bait them to lose it all if that situation feels right. usually this would mean if they have low health etc

Hi! I saw in your material that you recommend making an "instant ax kick". Any advice on how to do this? There was no buttonology and the regular AxeKick doesn't hit that low.

@@fasadli7947 I would need to look at your matches but inside of Gold I notice that players don't "wait" for their opponents enough. Wait for them to dp, wait for them to jump, wait for them to make a mistake basically. Focus more on that and your anti airs and you'll improve quickly. Check out my video on corner control and that might help!

It can be character dependent and it can depend on where you land on them. If they are crouching it should be easier but I would also (double tap) the jab when you try to connect it to make that work more consistently. Let me know if that helps!

if you don't end up canceling into the spin you can opt to juggle with ex hands[qcf + pp] which I think is a good fall back choice.

Is Seth a good character to start play the game? (Started play yesterday)

If you played a lot of fighters in the past, Seth could be a good character who has a lot of potential. If you are new to SFV or Fighters in general, Seth is a cool character with a smaller health pool so each hit will hurt more than usual. I wouldn't recommend if you were brand new new new but if you spend the time combos/situations in this game are easier than they have been in the past.

so how do you play vs zoners...

Against zoners, I use the tatsu (HK) to go through fireballs or jump OR slide underneath with CrFP. Otherways I deal with Zoners is I'll use VS1 and absorb them + ignore the fireball altogether. This then powers up my vskill and makes my opponent second guess their situation. Lastly, if you have VT1 active, you can tatsu the fireball and then HP+HK to cross your opponent up and juggle them for a free EX DP conversion. That said, it can be difficult so walking and blocking or taking the risk with a jump can be more than worth it.

I can find some backrise meaties for you today and provide them in a follow up comment here. In general, backrising seth gets people out of a lot of situations but the benefit is that they are closer to the corner. In the corner, Seth shines by doing instant air dive kicks, 6MP pressure, and a diverse set of anti airs to keep the opponent locked down. Stick with me - I'll help you find something.

It was called Season 5, at least, we all assumed when it came out and the FGC is like I guess this is season 5 2.0 because they delayed the release of Dan/Them by months because of CPT.
