Great tips Jon. This is the first video I have seen dealing with belt dryers. Very beneficial! It may seem like common sense, but the more videos dealing with a necessity like belt dryers the better your audience's knowlwdge. Hell, no one builds their own belt dryer to my knowledge. Cat spit thanks for the video's good info fought my belt on my home built convey dryer for more time than I want to fess up to. In my case the belt was sewn wrong and would not track no matter what I did was able over come the issue by adding roller to take up the slack on one side the dryer rocks out almost 3 shirt a minute.

I have the same dryer (Curestar 4000), and it's off track. I have two questions: 1. It's torn down one side, but will still take garments though the tunnel. Will a torn belt be harder {or impossible} to make track? 2. Can you make adjustments while the track is running?

Hello there Russell. I saw an order come in from you recently. Thank you! I appreciate your support. If the belt is torn in such a way that it is giving or flexing at the tear it may affect tracking. That I'm not sure about but it's certainly possible depending on the tear. You can adjust the pulley cranks at the end of the belt dryer while it is running but the key here is to make very small adjustments and wait to see how it affects the tracking. Thanks for watching! Any suggestion for an issue I have with the back pully sticking. It’s not turning as consistent as the front. Causing the merch to get stuck under the heat.
