Modifier is a decorator in Python? Just like a mapping is a dict in Python or an object in JS? For me it's really helpful to reference the corresponding names across languages as it helps to remember and learn more quickly.

13:23 is a bit confusing may help to do a youtube short re-explaining. You're saying if bypass is true it should bypass the requirement but if bypass is true it appears to implement the requirement? if(_bypass == true){ require(paused == false, "Contract is paused"); } I understand this as if bypass is true still require paused to be false or else its paused.
