I live in IRAN and because of the situation we have here, we dont have access to anything world wide and the only way for me to feel i am connected with the world is blockchain, we dont have global banking and for that we cant buy any course online even if we have the money, and this series of videos really is priceless for me, i dont know how yet, but i will repay you one day @patrick. I can't wait for web3 education and the security videos you will be putting out. Quick comment, I know a whole front end course is low on your priority list but a quick short or video on how you would go about building and deploying a front end for your DeFi stablecoin project would be amazing. Yes we need to know HTML, CSS, and Javascript but hearing form you what frameworks you would use, what hosting services, your rationales behind them and any limitations or other ways of doing it you would recommend would be an amazing video to watch! Thank you for these 3 videos! I’m absolutely astonished at the quality and level of detail in these videos. A quick question: as fees for network usage are charged in the native coin, are there blockchain platforms that use a stable coin as its native coin? Would it even be feasible to try to use a stable coin as a network’s native token to collect fees, pay miners, etc.?
@PatrickAlphaC Жыл бұрын
I haven’t seen such a platform, and I’m not sure it would work

@@PatrickAlphaC Thank you for the prompt reply! I’m not certain it would work either. Just trying to think through high transaction fees, why they are the way they are, and any possible resolution. Really cool courses! Wish you create NEAR Protocol course that i learn right now. you could really make them better
@andreas6508 Жыл бұрын
I have 2 suggestions for protocol that does not want to to do audit because of fund restriction - have a whitelist contract that can call your contract directly --> this prevent malicious contract to call your function multiple times, also prevent any price manipulation - implement EIP712 signature --> a bit centralization, but prevent any malicious input params to your function because you can do off chain input validation almost 99% of the hack can be solved this way, other hacks than this is a stupid one, ex: rug pull, backdoor function, role permission error, etc
@PatrickAlphaC Жыл бұрын
This won't work at all sadly. Most hacks are usually from some poorly implemented business logic, a whitelist contract will not save you from that!
