First of all, thank you for sharing your videos. A great deal of effort has been put into your works,undoubtedly. I'm from Iran and interested in Spanish language and all the countries in which Spanish is the official language. I found your lessons pithy. So many things to notice. But I was wondering if you could make some videos on intonation, specifically on how to read sentences with all the falling and rising when reading. Also the connections that are made among sentences, for instance in English you sometimes eliminate some letters to shorten the sentences and that makes you sound natural and native like. So why not talk about that as well? Again, thank you very much.

Hello jalal from Iran. It's nice to meet. you. Welcome to my Free Spanish course. In Spanish you don't omit letter when you read. Excepto for the naturally mute letter: H (without C) and U (after Q and after G). All other letters are pronounced straightforward. That makes our phonetics very simple. In English, however, when you are learning you get confused with which letters are pronounced and which aren't. En français on fait une distinction entre adjectif démonstratif et pronom démonstratif. “Ce livre” ou “ Ce livre ci” ce est suivi du nom donc ce est un adjectif qui correspond à “este” et “ Ce livre là” qui correspond à “ese” . En francais eso et esto correspondraient donc à “ celui-ci “ et “celui-là “ sachant que je parle d’un livre. Enfin si j’ai bien compris. José

Hi Justus. First of all, are you trying to ask "these are my things" or "these are my houses"? casas = houses cosas = things Now: mío / mía / míos / mías = possessive pronouns (mine) mis = possessive adjective (my) Therefore: Estas cosas son mis = These things are my (WRONG). Estas cosas son mías = These things are mine (CORRECT)
