Learn Spanish descriptions by listening to Juan and Pamela describe people, places and objects that are important to them and have helped them through the last year. Using the verb ser with adjectives and basic vocabulary they describe places in Mexico, family members and things that have special meaning. In addition to physical descriptions like colors and size, and personality traits, listen for why these people, places and things are important to them.

Hola, "Este gallo LO quiero mucho y LO cuido mucho" El segundo LO se usa para describir "Este gallo" es decir LO es objecto directo aquí ¿no? ¿Pero el primero LO? no lo he entendido. ¿Es para enfatizar? o ¿Por qué no es "Este gallo quiero mucho"? Muchas gracias antemano.

Tienes toda la razón, los dos pronombres son del objeto directo (gallo). Se usa en la primera parte de la oración porque si el objeto va delante del verbo, hay que incluir el pronombre: Eso no lo sé. / Ese programa lo veo todos los días/ La casa la van a vender. Si cambias el orden, no se necesita el pronombre. Quiero mucho este gallo/No sé eso./ Veo ese programa todos los días./ Van a vender la casa.

We're glad you find the videos helpful. Under settings (the gear icon), you can turn on subtitles. We put Spanish subtitles on our videos, and there is also an option for auto-translate. Choose English from the list of languages. The English will be machine-generated, so there will be mistakes, but you may find it helpful. Another strategy is to listen to the video once, then read the transcript (available below the video window where there are three horizontal dots...next to save) or watch with Spanish subtitles, then listen again without subtitles. Although watching with English subtitles gives learners the impression they are understanding Spanish, research shows that much of your attention goes to reading, and you are not actually processing the Spanish well at all. Of course, everyone learns differently, but it is something to consider.
