I think you have the english translation wrong in your slides for ojalá pudieras/pudiera. The english translation in the slide never changes tenses.... from you to I.

Ojalá (yo) pudiera hablar castellano con fluidez. Si pudiera, sería feliz. (It's interesting how the Imperfect of the Subjuctive is coupled with the Conditional tense. By the way, I was wondering if 'estaría' would work in that second sentence. After all, happiness is transient, and such emotions tend to be expressed with 'estar'. Any ideas?)
