You need to author novels with your writing skills. Future and Conditional are, by far, the two easiest tenses to learn. Gracias y hasta pronto, Profesor Pablo.

I wondered if this future conditional tense is how one would indicate a preference from an available choice. For example "I will have that" / "I would like that". In German, one option is to go for the future form of haben (ich hätte gern ....), and there are obvious parallels in English. I'm curious what the Spanish approach is here. Do you go with "tendré / tendría" or would that be a mistake?

Check out Lesson 100 and there you will get some more examples for "tener". Generally when saying what one would like or like to do, "me gustaría ...." is the choice.
